KALAYDO

Music project, branding, and website · 2026

KALAYDO is my music project. The name comes from "kaleidoscope," since I'm kind of an ever-changing jack of all trades with my music. I bounce between drill, house, reggaeton, R&B, and rap instead of sticking to one genre.

I did the branding myself. The profile picture is a kaleidoscope triangle, and the first three singles use one mural split into three covers, so they look like a set next to each other.

I also built kalaydomusic.com and host it on Cloudflare. It has an email signup so people hear new stuff as it comes out.

Digital and traditional painting

A painting of Macbeth as a puppet. The way I read the play, he isn't really in control. His ambition is, so I put him on strings.

It's almost all red and black. The different reds stand for what he goes through: guilt, shame, anger, torment, fear, and ambition.

ToolShare for One Michigan

Web app and server for One Michigan, Detroit · 2026

One Michigan runs a free tool library for the community. I built ToolShare so people can see which tools are available online before they come in, and so staff can check tools in and out from a password-protected dashboard.

It runs on a server I set up and maintain for the organization.

About

I'm in my second year at Michigan State, studying Advertising Creative. I started out in computer science and switched.

I've also been doing network and IT setup for local businesses since 2021. I speak English and Spanish, and I make music as KALAYDO.
